Rosie news (7-10 months old):

Christmas!! On Christmas eve Auntie Claudia came over to stay and played with me lots, and later Mummy and Daddy and I went to the Christingle service at church. On Christmas day we all went to Auntie El and Uncle Tim's house. I got given lots of lovely presents from my friends and family. Nana gave me a ballet tutu which I dressed up in after lunch. Charlie and I played with our toys all afternoon. On boxing day Granny and Grandad came to our house for lunch and I played with them and Auntie Claudia lots, and on the rocking horse I got for Christmas from Mummy and Daddy. Later Charlie popped by for a visit too. Here are two pictures of me, but there are more on our Christmas page, and on Charlie's page.

19 December. Today was the Christmas show for the Rainbow Day Nursery. I was an elf (or maybe a candy cane), and came on at the end (after the bigger kids did a nativity, and sang some songs) to sing jingle bells and we wish you a merry Christmas. Mummy made a little movie which gives you the general idea. Can you spot me below among the sheep, reindeer, stars, shepherds, Santas and Santa's helpers? Clue: I'm the cute one in the middle!

18 December. I am 10 months old, and what a busy weekend I have just had. On Friday I helped Mummy put up the Christmas tree (here I am with the tinsel), and then on Saturday we went to the Vikings group day and Christmas party. I played with Albans' toys and had fun with Daddy while Mummy did combat training. On Sunday we had lunch with the Barretos and I played with Thomas's toys, and later Mummy took me to my Godmother Lisa's house for her party. Phew! After all that partying, and meeting people I came home and had my bath, here I am peeping over the edge!

9th December. Last week Granny Susan was 60 and on the same day Auntie Claudia had her birthday too, so today we had a birthday party for them, with all Mummy's family round our house for birthday tea. Here we all are round the table (plus Daddy taking the photo!), and here I am with the birthday girls.

8th December. Today I went to see a pantomime at Mummy's work, and there were lots of children there. We had a party tea in the interval and afterwards Father Christmas came and gave all the girls and boys a present. I went to meet Father Christmas for the very first time! Inside my present was a teddy bear and her name is Alice Bear. I took her home to meet the other teddies in my cot. Here is also a picture of me in the laundry basket from last weekend when I was playing in it.

1st December. My top front middle teeth have finally come through; I now have three bottom teeth and four top teeth. Here they are:

24th November. Mummy is back from 3 days away in Athens, and today it was Charlie's christening. Charlie has more pictures on his webpage.  I am also pretty much able to crawl now, which is very exciting for me!

15th November. Today Charlie and I went to visit Welney with our Mummys, to see all the ducks and swans. We all wrapped up very warmly with hats and mittens (knitwear by granny Susan), and went for a walk in our rucksacks. Then we watched the swans being fed, but we were warm inside the viewing room, and Charlie and I sat on the ledge to see better. We saw lots of pochard ducks and whooper swans.

31st October. For Halloween today we all went to nursery in dressing up! I went in Charlie's skeleton outfit. Here I am with our pumpkin when I got home. Mummy put a flashing bike light inside it to make it look spooky! I answered the door to some Trick or Treaters before I had my tea. Halloween also seems a good day to grow some fangs - my top canines have come through (but I haven't got my top front teeth yet!)

30th October. Today I had my friends over for a Halloween fancy dress party! There was Seb 'n' Alex, Willow, Hugo, and Madeline from our New Mums group, and cousin Charlie. We dressed up and played, while our Mummys drank tea and ate pumpkin pie and pumpkin scones that my Mummy made. We all had lots of fun.

27th October. Hi folks. Not had much news for a while, but here's a picture of me with my new trick - standing up! Okay, I need to hold on to the sofa, table or Mummy, but it's the first step (literally)! This weekend I have also learned to clap my hands, which has been keeping my grandparents amused - Nana on Skype, and Granny and Grandad on Sunday for lunch. PS: Did you recognise my cardie from Mummy's pregnancy webpage?

14th October. I'm nearly 8 months old now. This weekend on Saturday I went to Charlie's house and stayed for tea and even for bath time, so Charlie lent me some of his pyjamas. On Sunday I went swimming with Mummy and Daddy. This inflatable Mummy got from the toy sale that her and El went to on Saturday while Daddy looked after Charlie and me.

Here I am wearing my pyjamas just like a big girl (and don't I look like Daddy in this picture). Here is another picture showing the jumper and hat that Granny Susan knitted for me! Charlie has a picture of him in his hat from Granny on his webpage.

29th September. I now have two teeth - and here they are!
