Moore Family Christmas, Cambridge, 2008.
Christmas day started at 8am (yes, not 7am, not 7.15am but 8am!!) when Rosie woke up and we all found our bulging stockings on the landing. Rosie needed an urgent nappy change, and then insisted on changing into her Party Dress, but then we all opened our stockings on Phil and Andrew's bed (the rest of us in PJs).
There were bazillions of presents under the tree when we'd brought them all down, many for Rosie, who seemed miffed each time one WASN'T for her! But she soon got the idea as Phil handed them out one by one.

Next was the cooking of the Christmas lunch, which was done mainly by Phil (can't remember why she was wearing Rosie's fairy wings now), and helped by Andrew who did a pavlova for pudding. The main course was traditional turkey and all the trimmings, which all turned out pretty well.

And went down pretty well as well.

After lunch Rosie played with her toys while the grown-ups watched Andrew's new Mamma Mia DVD, and then Rosie had a nap and then played some more. Rosie's favourite toys today are the Upsy Daisy doll from Ruth, the dolls buggy from Nana and the little horse-drawn caravan from Nana.
