Rosie news (10-14 months):

1st April. Charlie and I played an April Fool on our Mummies! :) Can you tell which is which?

30th March. Spring is here again, here I am playing in our Wendy House that Mummy is re-decorating for me.

23rd March. Happy Easter! Today it was snowing for the first time ever so we all went out to play in the snow, Daddy showed me how to throw snowballs and Mummy made a snowman for me! Later Mummy drove us (very carefully) to visit Granny and Grandad, and we stayed overnight along with Auntie Claudia, which was fun. However, the next day all the snow had gone and when we got home the snowman was nearly all melted.

15th March. Today Mummy and I went to the Cambridge Science Festival. We had a picnic outside the zoology museum and then I helped build a bridge and stood on it. Outside the geology museum I met a robot called Oscar who talked to me, and I shook his hand. Then we went to the chemistry department, and had to wear lab coats and goggles. I played with the big vat of green goo (the sign said 'non-newtonian fluid' though), and then we went to materials science and I got to play with even more goo! Mummy drew on the outside of a plastic cup and we watched it get shrunk down to a flat disk. I also learnt about the amount of DNA different animals have. What a lot of fun science we did today.

6th March, World Book Day. Today we had to dress up as characters from a book for nursery, and I went as one of the gumnut babies from Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.

2nd March. Mothers day. After going to church with Mummy we all went to Shepreth Wildlife park with Auntie Claudia, Auntie El and Charlie. There was a big ball pool and slide where we all played when we'd seen the animals. We went back to Charlie's for tea and to play afterwards.

1st March. Spring is here and so I went out to play in the garden after Mummy mowed it. Here I am having fun with Mummy and Daddy. See how much I've grown since this time last year!

18th February. It's my first ever birthday!! This weekend I had a party tea and Auntie Claudia, Auntie El, Uncle Tim, Charlie, Granny and Grandad came round to celebrate with me. I have put a whole page of birthday news and pictures.

10th February. This weekend was Mummy's birthday so we've been pretty busy. Mummy brought me back a tartan skirt from when she went to Edinburgh last week. On Friday we had lunch with Harry Agar and his mummy Nick, and on Saturday Mummy went off for the day with Auntie El so I played with Daddy all day. On Sunday Daddy made Mummy birthday cake and we (Charlie and Auntie El as well) went to a concert to hear Uncle Tim and Mummy's friend Ruth's orchestra. It was fun and there were lots of children there. Afterwards Charlie came back to mine to play for a bit.
4th February. I got to play with Charlie loads today while Auntie El made baskets. At teatime I fed myself, and look how good I am at using my spoon!

I can play with Charlie again now! Mummy and I went to Auntie El and Charlie's for lunch. I played in the ball pool with Charlie and then we went out in the tandem buggy to the swings. We all had a lovely time playing this afternoon.

28 January. I went back to the doctor today and I don't have chicken pox!! It seems its just a minor skin infection or something, so I can go back to nursery today.
24 January. Thanks for asking after how I am. I am feeling loads better, but I'm still quite tired. I went to nursery on Wednesday but they were worried about a spot near my mouth, when they found a couple more little spots I got sent home with suspected chicken pox! I went to the doctor but he was not sure. I have been home for a day and a half and no more spots have come. I don't feel itchy or anything, but Mummy is keeping me away from people for a few days, or at least until my main spot has healed up. Here's a picture of it - what do you reckon? Coz I can't play with my friends or even go visit Charlie Mummy took me to feed the ducks today instead which was fun.

20 January. Well I'm now 11 months old, but today I am not feeling happy. I have got pains and am feeling rather sorry for myself. Mummy says it is because I am growing new teeth, but I just feel tired and hurty. On the plus side Uncle Chris sent me some lovely red Chinese trousers from America (a birthday present but Mummy let me wear them now) - I was born on Chinese New Year don't you know. I wore them to church and got nice comments. This weekend I have also learned to pull myself up to stand, and I am practising on as many bits of furniture as I can.
11-13 January. It's Daddy's birthday tomorrow, so to celebrate Mummy and I took him away for the weekend. We went to Aldeburgh and stayed at the Wentworth Hotel. We all had a lovely relaxing time, and I have put a page of pictures here.
On New Year's day Charlie came over and we went for a hearty walk with our Mummies and Daddies.

Happy New Year everyone! Here are three generations of girls (me, Mummy and Granny) taken yesterday when we visited Granny and Grandad and went for a walk in the woods after lunch.
